It’s been a week and a half and I’m really settling into this town. Steamboat has been one of our happy places since we got married here almost 18 years ago. The days are sunny + active with our 4 kids (biking, hiking, hot spring-ing, lunch or happy hours straight from the mountain) and the nights are laid back (but still styled) with the exception of an occasional dinner out- just the way I like it!

I know I mention this a lot but the power of natural fabrics for even the most active days is remarkable. I like to wear a long sleeve during the day to protect my skin from too much sun (my issue with sunscreen explained here) so the Hutton linen shirt and Margaret merino long sleeve are perfect for the elements here as they’re temperature regulating and moisture wicking plus I still feel good and like myself in them.
For errands and evenings I’m still choosing natural fabrcis but with a bit less focus on sporty-chic and more on effortless summer ease with a side of “refined boho”.
