If I’m not careful I can be a bad packer. I always start with the best intentions and then last minute feel a pang of desire for the girl I might want to be while on vacation. The truth is I know I feel my absolute best when I’m in the clothes I know and love with 1 or 2 new, unique or special pieces that don’t fit my everyday life…it is a summer vacation after all!
For this particular trip to Italy (half coastal/half Rome), I hung everything on a rack and put first in my suitcase what I was 1000% positive I would wear more than once. Then I went to the next most certain look and on and on. Finally I was left with a few pieces I love but wasn’t sure I would really wear. I took one of them and left the others. Then I did the same with shoes. It was the first time I’ve packed like this and I think I’m onto something!
What I like about the pieces I packed is that for the most part I’m not married to any absolute look. I can pair the skirt and pants with multiple tops, layer the dresses with t shirts and wear multiple times in multiple ways.
Here’s the list of what I packed if it helps you at all:
DRESSES:
TOPS:
White Organic Cotton Scoop Neck Tank
Vest (vintage)
BOTTOMS:
Lace skirt (vintage)
Black wide leg pants for travel
SHOES:
White sandals (similar)
Wherever your summer takes you, I hope it’s a beautiful adventure!

I love the wider leg pant, any chance of a restock in smaller sizes in the future?
